Forte Portuense evokes the rich character of a region, a raw and undefined cultural beacon centered in a community. The aim of this project then is to enhance the encounter between different generations.
Sport, art & music ateliers, school & senior center, neighborhood associations all in one place. Starting from the pre-existences and with the idea of preserving the stratifications, a contrast has been introduced: the ramp-restaurant gravitates over the fort as a respectful metaphor of the Memory and the Traditions as a sustainable basis for the ever-evolving community.
